Propane GasAs a full-service energy provider Clearwater Gas System sells propane gas to customers that may not reside in our natural gas service area or customers that prefer using propane gas as an energy source. Our annual customer pricing structure classifies residential propane customers by “Bulk Bill” or “Will Call”. Bulk Bill customers typically use several propane appliances such as water heating, home heating, clothes drying, and cooking, typical “daily use” appliances. As a Bulk Bill customer, Clearwater Gas will monitor your usage and fill your tank as required. The first year’s rate is established based upon the estimated consumption of your gas appliances. Once a usage history is established, we then calculate the actual appliance consumption to determine the appropriate annual customer charge and fuel rate based upon your actual consumption. The current “Bulk Bill” usage classes and annual customer charges are as follows:
"Will Call" customers monitor their gas usage and call us directly for all tank refills. "Will Call" customers typically use propane gas for pool/spa heating, fireplace use, and outdoor grilling, typical “leisure living” appliances. The first year’s rate is established based upon the estimated consumption of your gas appliances. Once a usage history has been established, we then calculate the actual appliance consumption to determine the appropriate annual customer charge and fuel rate based upon your actual consumption. The current "Will Call" usage classes and annual customer charges are as follows:
Since propane gas is sold by the gallon, usage is calculated by multiplying the estimated number of gallons consumed by the current gas rate. 1. Customer Service Phone Number Mail: Clearwater Customer Service Office: In Person/Drive-Thru/After Hours Drop Box Direct Debit: Save time, stamps, and check-writing. With Direct Debit, your utility bill is automatically paid from your checking or savings account 10 days after billing and you still receive a monthly statement. Please call Clearwater Customer Service at (727) 562-4600 to enroll. Pay by Phone: Using Speedpay, Inc., customers can pay utility bills by calling 800-803-5211 (a $4.95 convenience fee applies). Speedpay is an independent contractor with the City of Clearwater to provide phone payment processing services. For additional information regarding billing, payments, or requests for turn-ons and turn-offs, please call Clearwater Customer Service at (727) 562-4600, Monday - Friday, 8am to 5pm (excluding holidays). |
