We Care Fund Each year since 1992, Clearwater Utility Customer Service and people like you have helped hundreds of our neighbors by contributing to the We Care Fund. Contributions are administered by the local Salvation Army, to provide temporary assistance to eligible customers of the City of Clearwater utilities.
Water and Wastewater Plant Tours The next city water plant tour is our 'May the Fourth Be With You' tours, in partnership with the Clearwater Public Library System. Join us May 4, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at our Reserve-Osmosis Water Treatment Plant, 21133 U.S. 19 N. in Clearwater.
Reverse Osmosis The city of Clearwater's Public Utilities Department uses reverse-osmosis to produce water for Clearwater's water needs. This helps the city to produce water at a less expensive rate than it is to buy it from distributors such as Pinellas County and Tampa Bay Water.
