Clearwater Gas System Finalized the Sale of its Propane Gas Operations

To our loyal propane customers, please know that it has been a privilege to serve our community in Hillsborough, Pinellas, and Pasco counties for more than three decades. After careful evaluation of our propane operations, we have decided to discontinue our involvement in the propane industry.

Clearwater Gas System no longer provides propane service, and effective April 11, 2024, Suburban Propane has taken over Clearwater Gas System's propane accounts. Suburban Propane is a U.S. based company with over 95 years of experience, and an unparalleled commitment to customer service (including a mobile app option and 24/7/365 customer and emergency service).

How does this affect our propane customers?

All propane accounts have been transitioned to Suburban Propane, and customers shouldn't have experienced any changes or interruptions to their services. Suburban Propane’s full-service options will be an asset as their local customer service center offers propane, appliance sales, appliance service, cylinder refills, forklift cylinder services and tank installation.
